New clay pieces
I have been busy working on some new ideas for some clay pieces. I hope to have them finished up in the next couple of days to see if I can sell on my Bigcartel site. So far the fairy houses did not sell, which is disappointing because I thought they were cute.
Anyway here is a heart piece I'm working on, I still have a few more things to do. You cant really tell from the picture but the corner of the heart is shimmery gold.
another heart
Two different shaped pieces I was just messing around with a little bit.
I have a few more I'm working on but that will be for another post.
Watch for my give away and be sure to follow my facebook page for details.

Just some pictures
Day 3
Today I took some pictures of the birds that were visiting my feeder on the porch.
This little guy is a tufted titmouse with no tail. Why he has no tail I don't know.
And this guy is a nuthatch.I always love watching the little birds outside. The are so funny sometimes. Today all the sparrows were fighting over one bird feeder.
I also worked on a few more hearts just to try out some new techniques. I hope to get some made into necklaces tomorrow to see how they look. Not much else to say its very late and my computer is hot so I'm guessing its about to overheat and flip off again.

Tenth Day of Christmas
The Tenth Day of Christmas crafts
Decorating a light switch cover with polymer clay
Items used:
light switch cover
polymer clay
This one is fairly self explanatory with the pictures. If you are interested in making a clay cane I found good instructions here http://www.polymerclaycentral.com/braincane.html
After you make your cane you can cut your slices and then start adding them to the switch plate.
After adding all the slices you can flatten it out with your fingers and run your roller over it to smooth it out. Cut out your holes with a sharp knife. Then follow directions on your clay to bake. Yes you can bake the plate it will not melt.
After baking you can sand it and add some mod podge or your choice of finish and shine it up. Remember to turn off the electricity when you install. You could make matching plates for all the rooms in your house.
Well its late and I'm tired. Got to get up and do more apple, slice baking.
night all

Where did summer go?
After a long hot summer, I am so glad to see that fall is here. All the first day of school pictures are being shared. The leaves are starting to turn already, the mornings are cool now. Halloween is just arond the corner and just after that Christmas. So its time to come back to blogging.
The lazy days of summer are over. It really wasn't a lazy summer though. We had a heat wave, no ones grass turned green this year. The corn crops didn't grow. My hubby's plant layed of 20 people because of it, and dropped the night shift. This puts hubby back in the regular work force after being a boss on nights for about 8 years now. And back to days, which he hasn't worked the day shift in about 12 years. Lets just say summer has been rough!
Anyway I have lots of craft ideas to share and many blog posts to come. So stay tuned.
I am opening a "Big Cartel" shop online to sell my clay stuff. I have opened a Red Bubble account to try to sell some of my pictures, and its time to get back to work!!
I want to have more interaction on here! I would love if people started posting. I need many followers. Lets have fun. Lets craft! Lets talk!
I also want to share with you guys some of the blogs or Caring Bridge stories I follow. Some of the people I follow have absolutely heart breaking stories but unbreakable faith. They don't even know me from Adam, but on some days these stories I follow just help, i don't know how because I cant explain it. But they just give me strength...
I have also been waiting on Grand child number 12 to arrive. She will be here any day now. she due in the first week of September.
How was your summer?? Have a nice day :)

I cant believe its been a whole month since I posted. I also cant believe its almost Dec. A hard time for many. I'm trying to find my Christmas spirit early this year. I have drug out the decorations and have started planning how to go about the actual decorating part now.
School is over now. I still didn't pass the math class. Right now I'm not going to stress about it. I'm going to get in the Christmas spirit!
I'm going to do a post a day on a craft I find on pinterest and I am going to start doing my doll house remodel.
If you have not checked out pinterest you should! I will also finish up my name pictures for those who have been waiting.
Also I would like to share some clay projects I am working on as soon as I finish them. I got some new clay from my Mom and have been enjoying working with the different colors rather than the basic color set that walmart sells. Which is the only store in our town that sells clay. Looking forward to posting more often!
